I had a 10 minute interview with the recruiter and it went well. She was very friendly and made me feel welcome. However, she interviewed me again the next day and was not as friendly. Their questions were simple but she tried to determine my life story from this. She wanted me to talk about my struggles and family problems. I explained as much as I was comfortable with and she said this was not enough. I explained more and she said it still was not enough. I tried to go in a different direction with the question and talk about how my love for mentoring others is what drives me, and she said this was too generic and could not be true. I recieved an invitation for another interview and declined. I could not believe how rude and inconsiderate she was that I did not want to tell her my life story. Furthermore, I did not feel good about being called a liar for wanting to mentor people who are struggling to find employment. Luckily, I have found employment at a company that makes me feel way more comfortable than she did. I wish anyone who is privileged luck in this interview, because she will continue to say your answers are not enough until you make up a story about your struggles.
The interview process was quick. Lasting around 15 minutes. There are several interviews that you will go through. They will do an initial interview with the director. Then you will get scheduled for a follow up. This is where you meet the other recruiters and account managers. They will walk you around the office and have you shadow some of the recruiters.
