I had the opportunity to interview twice with AdLeverage, once with a recruiter and marketing team member and once with the CEO. During the initial stages of the process, I was impressed by the company's forward-thinking approach and innovative culture. However, after my interview with the CEO, communication became nonexistent despite my attempts to follow up on my candidacy. I made four attempts to request an update, but unfortunately, I did not receive any response. Being ghosted is unprofessional and unnecessary, particularly in this digital age where a quick response takes only a few seconds. I believe that a job seeker is deserving of transparency regarding their status, particularly after investing time and energy into learning about the company and interviewing for a position. The lack of respect and communication from AdLeverage was disappointing and confusing, and it left me with a negative impression of the company. While I was initially excited about the possibility of joining AdLeverage, the lack of follow-up and communication after my interview with the CEO left a lasting impression. As a job seeker, it is essential to receive timely feedback, even if it is negative, to provide closure and allow for the possibility of exploring other opportunities. I hope that AdLeverage can improve its communication processes to ensure a more positive experience for future candidates.
