Interview
The interview process at Accenture for a fresh engineering graduate is slightly different than other companies. Since I had a campus placement, i got to experience this kind of interview, and I am not sure about off campus placement interviews. We were interviewed in groups of 5. 5 candidates and 2 interviewers interviewing us one by one. It felt like more like a college viva session though. :p And such interviews were held at almost all campuses across India wherever Accenture visited for placement.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They started off by having a basic round of introduction, background etc and then they moved to asking few technical questions regarding college project and other stuff. One unique kind question in their interview process was asked to each candidate appearing for the interview. For eg, they would ask about our role model, favourite movie, food etc, favourite political leader and what not and we were to talk on that topic for some time and they would cross question us. Topic given to me was what I would do if I were invisible for a day.
It was very structured. It consisted of 1 round. The interviewer asked me to introduce myself and then asked questions on my resume. They are basically looking for candidates to walk through their resume. They didn't ask any question apart from the resume
The process was 1 online assessment and 1 group interview with 3 panelists. They asked both technical and soft skills questions. Each interviewer asked different questions. The total interview was less than 30 mins.
Interview was nice but it was much technical heavy and the interviewer had asked both the technical and HR related questions and also some general knowledge and current affairs questions.
