      I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at AT&T (Asheville, NC) in May 2009

      Interview

      Resume Submittal, ATT Application Submittal, Background Check permission submittal, Drug test permission submittal, Schedule / Take Mechanical and Electronic aptitude test at regional test center, phone call from corporate recruiter, telephone screening interview with corporate recruiter (approx. one hour), face to face interview with area manager, job offer. The skills assessment test was NOT easy.

      It was drawn out with test then you have to wait for thewm to decide if you qualify then if you do they call you back for a one on one interview and after that you wait another two weeks for them to make a decision. It was just two long of a process and I would have died of starvation if I would have waited on them

The biggest factor is the companies need for the new job. Make sure you are available for the date(s) they want to interview or test you. If you reschedule you go on the bottom of the pile
