This was the strangest interview experience I've had in my career.
I first was invited for a face to face interview in campus. It was mostly behavioral. You start by telling a nice story about the different experiences mentioned in your CV. Then, different behavioral interview questions ........ nothing really out of the ordinary.
Afterwards, I was invited for second round phone interview. I was interviewed by the lead HR for the LDP program. Again, it was mostly behavioral interview. The interviewer went further into details of my past experiences with this, and a time where I've face that .......... I was told that I will be contacted back within 3 weeks. A month later, I email the lead HR who tells me that I'll be contacted by my local recruiter shortly.
Another month later, I email both the recruiter and the HR persons, but nothing back. This tells how bad is this sinking 250k-employees ship. They don't even bother getting back to candidates that went through all interview rounds!!! I don't mind being rejected, but I would expect the minimum professional courtesy of an answer specially after putting effort and time in the interviewing process.
I've a good offer since then, but I let prospective candidates know how bad is the hiring process ...... no talent in, no innovation out. One advice: if you have ambitions in life, go work for somebody else. This is an old industry turning into utility.
