I recently had the opportunity to interview for a position at Alba Synchrotron and I must say that it was not a pleasant experience. One of the interviewers was unprofessional and engaged in a series of continuous interruptions. The overall demeanour was one of belittling and devaluing my work and accomplishments. Despite my best efforts to engage in a constructive discussion, the atmosphere was tense and unproductive. I expected a more elevated and respectful exchange, and I was disappointed that no one intervened to re-establish a more professional focus.
