Couldn’t tell if the interviewers were AI or not until they moved in their seats after five minutes or so. Overly disengaged and didn’t say much except ‘we’ve had a change around in the team.’ Didn’t try to sell the role to me in any way. The answers to questions I asked were minimal and generic. Hiring managers should be reminded by HR it’s a two way process including the interview being about the candidate wanting to work there too. HR rejection email said something about ‘both parties put in lots of time’. Technically on time that’s accurate but the interviewers gave the impression of looking at their clocks, with minimal input by them and very little effort on selling the role, team or organisation.
