I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at ADP in Apr 2014
Interview
I completed a phone screen by the recruiter in this region, then attended a face to face interview with the VP of the Austin/San Antonio offices. I got called back for a half day interview which consisted of riding along with a salesman and shadowing them in a real day. Then I went back to the office where I had another interview with two sales leaders of each team.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
You must sell a basic payroll package to the sales team leaders. You have 15 minutes to prepare and execute by incorporating everything you can possibly remember from the 2-page handout they give you. You're expected to ask questions to determine which payroll "package" you would align that person with and why.
Interview is behavioral-based interview questions that ask for stories/"tell me about a time when" to figure out if you are coachable, good work ethic, have goals, are resilient, etc. Be prepared to speak to different experiences you have had and various stories you can tell about them as it relates to important qualities in a B2B sales person (handling rejection, building relationships, being coachable).

Tell me about a time you were frustrated by change
It was a fairly quick interview process. I did a phone screen with a recruiter. Next step was an interview with the managers and the VP. I also shadowed a rep in the field for a day
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ADP (Salem, NH) in Feb 2024
Interview
Interview process was seamless, and the hiring team did a great job keeping me in the loop. It was three steps; first with the recruiter virtually, second with the VP of Sales virtually, then the final day was a full day comprised of an interview, a shadow, and a role play, Again, recruiting team did a great job preparing me for everything. They appreciate honesty and a willingness to want the job. I asked for the job at the end of my final interview, and then received an offer before I left the building. From recruiter contact to job offer, the process was less than three weeks.
