      Sales And Marketing Specialist Interview

      Jan 7, 2020
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at 3M in Dec 2019

      Interview

Unethical and Unprofessional people. I applied for a position in Dubai, UAE. Please read till the end, if you are looking forward to work here, think 10 times before, whether you should or not, since their recruitment system is highly unprofessional, and if you would just know that their process is horrible. I applied for this role, and within 2 days, received an email from them, The email consisted of 3 questions, which authentically depicted like they are fascinated to have me for an interview, first question was '' Please let me know your availability for an interview early January? '' which made me feel exhilarated and hopeful, and genuinely thought they would give me details of when and where I should come for the interview. I even brushed up on my SalesForce and Excel functions skills for hours, along with researching about the industry and so on, just so I could ace the interview. I knew that most offices in Europe opened on 3rd Jan 2020 Friday, my recruiter, who emailed me, was operating from Europe, handling MEA region recruitment) but Friday is a weekend holiday in Dubai, and so I was hoping to receive an email on Monday when both offices in Dubai and Europe are opened. I waited all day to receive an email, got sick worried, then on Tuesday emailed the recruiter for a follow-up. I instantly got a replication within minutes verbalizing that they made a decision to proceed with other candidates, whose experience is more pertinent. I busted out in disappointment as I initially received an email from them on 26th December 2019, and waited till 7 January 2020, just for them to tell me this. I thought the recruiter was withal unethical, as the email did not even verbally express they will be on a leave for Christmas and New Years, and will be back in office on so and so day. I only received a rejection email ONLY AFTER I emailed for a follow-up. A kind request to 3M, to please stop recruiting unprofessional and unethical people as Talent Leaders that waste other candidates valuable time, and give them hope for nothing. It's so sad to see a huge multi-national company have a very bad recruitment system, with so many bad reviews about them, they should really take some action against this.
