How are senior leaders perceived at Livewire Communications?

Pros

Throughout the pandemic I've heard a ton of negative feedback from friends on how their employers have communicated to or treated them and I am happy to say that I am not in the same boat! Moving to a fully-remote work life has not been easy on any of us, but the Livewire leadership team has been transparent with decisions and has kept all our jobs safe. Our culture is evolving, what it meant to be part of Livewire culture 12-18 months ago had a lot to do with F2F interactions -- so it's different but still very strong.

Cons

Pre-pandemic I would say work/life balance, but moving to a fully-remote work environment has allowed us all to take back some authority of our own calendars. TBD if it will last when the world returns to the "new normal" - but not a con right now.

What are some insights into the strategy or vision at Livewire Communications?

Pros

After working for several companies I find working at Livewire to be a refreshing change of pace. Everyone seems to genuinely like each other the leadership team cares about the well-being of team members. The holistic approach to creating communication strategies and execution plans (via a partnership between strategists, creatives and digital SME's) makes the work we do for clients very valuable.

Cons

I have only been with the agency for a little while but I cannot think of any "cons."

How are the career development opportunities at Livewire Communications?

Pros

Livewire is a growing leader in a new part of the communications field. That has given me the opportunity to develop an emerging practice area into a department with the most amazing team I could ask for, working on projects with increasing scope, sophistication, and profile for global organizations. Every couple of years my role has grown and changed, presenting new focus and challenges, letting me create new capabilities for the company. As we expand this year into the US, it's all going to become even more interesting. Our culture is a priority for everyone, starting with the Partners, and it shows. We attract smart, talented people, and that lets us deliver exceptional work for our clients. It's never boring; we work hard and have fun doing it.

Cons

It's not really a con, but the balance can be a bit wonky at times; that's the industry. If you want to clock a consistent 9-5, then a communications agency isn't the right fit for you.

That has given me the opportunity to develop an emerging practice area into a department with the most amazing team I could ask for, working on projects with increasing scope, sophistication, and profile for global organizations.

How is management perceived at Livewire Communications?

Pros

The people and the culture are second to none. Also management is very accessible which is almost unheard of for most companies.

Cons

As with any company who is growing, there are going to be growing pains. The potential to influence new and emerging policy/process/growth is exciting however.
