    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Livewire Communications (Chicago, IL) in Jun 2019

    Interview

The interview process was thorough - I had the chance to meet a variety of team members and learn a great deal about the company from different perspectives. Everyone was smart, engaged and kind. The questions were thoughtful, and they were the most mentally stimulating interviews I've ever had. Though I withdrew from the process for personal reasons before an offer was made, I would encourage Chicagoans to give this new local company (based in Toronto) a shot.

How would you deal with feedback that a strategy wasn't effective or wouldn't work?

The performance review process is not only key to the success and growth of employees, but it can also be an effective way to engage and align them with leadership goals. http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vQUDB

Employees dread the performance review. They look to this yearly evaluation with angst, annoyance and anger. It's a measure of their whole year bottled into a one- to two-hour meeting that will determine their promotion, raise, etc. They often don't even leave with feedback on how to grow; it's mostly a waste of time.
