Unless you know someone or have a good relationship with the hiring manager then they will not let you move internally. You do have to re-apply like an outsider for any internal move.

Not many cons just communication

Chill team, good and clear onboarding process. Was a part time gig until I find something in my field but I actually enjoyed those months at Ikea. People were nice, we had trainings for different things. Food (in employees kitchen) was amazing!!

I would say if you don’t know German it can be difficult to work out in the store. I’ve tried to hide in logistics but sooner or later they’ll need you to work with customers and omg - that part can be annoying :-)

Very large & complex, easy to get lost and create new connections if you're new. Teams often work in silos without realising it. Too many internal channels for learning or acquiring information. Interns were treated as external and didn't have the opportunity to apply for any internally open roles. No compensation for interns despite delivering good project outcomes.
