Pros
As a firm, Bain invests in and values its employees in a way that I don't think is common in the corporate world. I also think the firm takes a long-term view when planning strategy, and doesn't sacrifice the long-term health of the business for short term profit. I trust our leadership to navigate through tough times. They offer competitive pay, robust benefits, and a hybrid working model that has been helpful for my work/life balance. My immediate colleagues are wonderful, and I've found people are generally smart and thoughtful. The firm is placing more emphasis on diversity and inclusion. We still have a long way to go, but I think the firm is trying to make tangible improvements and report back to employees regularly for accountability.
Cons
Bain has a demanding and fast-paced work environment that can be challenging.
