ML’s Lara Stewart Triozzi, Mary White, Stephanie Kargel, and Brooke Castino attended the TeamStrength, Inc Leadership Workshop in Orlando recently. Lara and Mary have both been members of TeamStrength executive peer groups for many years and that experience has helped shape ML into the company we are today. Featured speakers were employee turnover expert, Dick Finnegan, organizational psychologist, Dr. Laura Gallagher, and risk management expert, Jean Seawright. Our biggest takeaway came from Dick Finnegan’s session which drilled home the point that people stay at a company based on how much they trust their boss. Trust is inherent in everything we do at ML. Kelly Lane has been with ML for almost five years. In that time, she has proven to be a consistent top performer, problem-solver, and collaborator. These attributes will serve her well in her new role. In addition to her responsibilities as a Senior Market Research and Sales Development Specialist, Kelly will take the lead in the Training and Onboarding Process for our new hires into these positions, while also working with existing team members to ensure their continued development. Experience in both roles gives her a unique ability to understand what these team members need to succeed. Kelly will work closely with ML’s Director of Sales, Brian McNeilly, our Sales Managers Jennifer Aldinger and Terri-Lynne Anderson, and our Market Research Manager, Teresa S. Block to re-enforce the standards and procedures they have implemented. Kelly will also work closely with Stephanie Kargel, our Director of Employee Success, on our Onboarding experience to shape a curriculum that will support everyone’s success. Many ML team members give their time to worthwhile causes. Cheryl Thompson volunteers as a Court Appointed System Advocate (CASA) for the CASA / GAL Association for Children. Cheryl advocates for the needs of children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect. She got involved because "every child should feel safe in their own home. If that is not the case, CASA steps in to ensure the child does not get lost in the system by making sure their voices are heard."
