Our Women’s Initiative Network (WIN) in Utah recently supported Utah's FIRST Robotics Competition by delivering the keynote speech, judging robotics matches and coaching students on technology and business plans. Our team also showed students what we do at BD and shared opportunities for the students to join us in college through our internship program, or as engineers once they finish their degrees. It was a great day connecting with the next generation of engineers! #makersofpossible
Champ Davis can easily and quickly describe BD in one word: impactful. But after speaking with him for any length of time, it’s clear that he values his career at the company for so many additional reasons. It’s World Quality Week! Reema Chadhary, Software Quality Engineer, explains that she feels the best part about her career at BD is the impact she can have on testing and confirming the quality and level of care BD puts into each of its devices and solutions. The other element that she appreciates is how her teammates and leaders focus on helping each other be great.
Every year, we award a small group of extraordinary employees from around the globe the Jeffrey Sherman Life-Changers Award.
