As #BlackHistoryMonth comes to a close, we wanted to highlight one of our favorite organizations: Black Girls CODE whose mission is to reduce the opportunity divide for girls of color in tech to have 1 million girls coding by the year 2040. We raised $1000 for Black Girls CODE this month and want to encourage others to give their time and attention to worthy causes like this that are helping empower young women of color to embrace the current tech marketplace. #womeninstem #womenintech #blackgirlscode

Eva Maloney, vice president of business operations at Boston-based software company AppNeta, moved to Georgia from a Boston suburb in May to be closer to her family. She said she and her husband have busy careers on top of caring for two young children, so they “needed family support to make it all work.”
