Pros

Past years had excellent holiday parties - Remote work opportunities in US, Canada and EU

Cons

- favoritism - (borderline illegal) dirty office politics - undermining and blatant lies from management - lack of support in career advancement - unreliable and unresponsive HR team in the US - departments work in silos - high stress levels, many employees are on the brink of a burnout - Mentally unstable coworkers continue harmful behaviour without recompense and are in fact idolized because they "bring in a lot of money"

Pros

a seemingly upbeat work environment

Cons

Disingenuous in the emphasis on their employees wellbeing, the "people first" approach is a show to mask just another corporation, and their tactless HR team will not hesitate to lay off workers taking sick days via a public announcement they are last to cue into. Their team can't seem to do anything right when it comes to appropriate government filings either - if being let go from this company, be sure to check the reason for termination has been filed appropriately, as they have been known to wrongly claim on government files that employees chose to leave of their own volition. I'm sure working for this company has its strengths but I've been left severely unimpressed overall- would caution signing on with them.

An absolute shame, it really is. We can only assume the extend of frustration you must have gone through. It really shines through in your review here. If there has been mistakes made on your docs, we hope it got figured out. One of our dearest long time uberallers is taking care of HR admin, as you are aware. If something went wrong, it was without bad intentions. As some time has passed now, we really hope you can leave your frustration behind and look forward to new exciting adventures. Best of luck 🌵

What a shame, really. We seem to have failed to facilitate growth opportunities for you. If you care to elaborate, we'd be eager to grab pen and paper and have you paint your picture of what should have been done (or shouldn't). What we can do, after all, is to thank you for having taken the time to tell us what you think. We appreciate that step. Maybe it can come to a next one with the suggested dialogue?! Who knows? And again, thank you.
