Pros

- summer hours - mini massages once a month - free lunch Fridays (Sept to May) - pay is comparable to industry standards - friendly people - great work/life balance

Cons

- People have been leaving in waves since the start of 2015. I would estimate 40-50 staff have left TMS since the beginning of the year (this is close to 1/2 of the company!) - Weak senior management leadership - Not sure what the vision/direction of the Toronto office - Mundane client work - there is no opportunity for any type of innovation (unless you are working in the Marketing Science team) - Trying to be a digital agency but is so far from it

Pros

Benefits were great, location was close to my house.

Cons

This company is completely disorganized; upper management had no idea how any programs worked and we were constantly under resourced. There was little to no cross department communication among management which caused upper management to eventually step in and take over matters that they had no knowledge of. This work environment was stressful and although they had a few great workers in the mix, they were all quickly burned out from pulling the slack of dozens of useless employees (senior management included) that they quickly left. I was hired to work with two other mid level account people who left within 2 months of me being there - without any replacement until 10 months after causing a ridiculous workload. I was among many new employees when I started - ALL of who left within the year I was there or shortly after I quit. Within two years this office has seen two full turn overs and with a company less than 200 people this is a horrible stat (both in accounts and creative teams).
