I hated my career at Simplehuman. The micromanaging, toxic and not inclusive environment made it so hard to fit in. The CEO, Frank, is so involved in every aspect of the business. Employees are so afraid to go against his decision whether it makes their jobs harder or not. They are there to execute his orders. If you want to be a puppet, Simplehuman is the place for you. I was blinded by the nice look of the office and the free yoga classes. I left on my own accord because I refused to be in an environment where the team and the management were not supportive and work in a toxic environment. If I can give a 0 star, I would. On a positive note, this experience taught me to do my due diligence and also take the negative reviews seriously. Knowing what I know now, would not put much trust in most of the positive reviews. I have moved on and the best decision I have done for myself. I wrote the review in the hope I can help any potential candidates.

If I wrote anything here, I would be telling the same Cons as everyone else. No matter what year the review was written, nothing has changed. Before accepting a position here I reached out to a former employee on LinkedIn and asked their opinion. They ended the message by saying not to work here. I will now give that same advise to you, the reader of this message - do not work at this company (unless of course you really need that paycheck...sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do).
