      An agency with real ambition

      Pros

      Opportunity to work on iconic brands which is rare for a regional agency outside of London - Owner-managed company with real entrepreneurial mindset - Excellent salary and benefits - Talented workforce who care about what they do but without the egos you get at some agencies - The agency recognises talent and rewards quality. Some members of the team have been with the agency for over 15 years - An environment that encourages growth. It's not uncommon for team members to change career paths if they find a role within the agency that better suits their ambitions - Strong social culture - beer Friday's are a real plus!

      Cons

      - Not for the faint hearted. If you don't adapt well to change or challenging projects, then agency life probably isn't for you - The agency is really ambitious so you'll regularly be stepping outside your comfort zone which can be challenging - The management team isn't afraid to take risks and venture into new technologies. This can be uncomfortable at times but keeps things fresh - It's not always 9-5 but hard work doesn't go unnoticed

      Zero culture, integrity and unfortunately my worst career experience

      Pros

      - Opportunity to work with some well-known clients - Good exposure to clients business and people - Some opportunity to shape certain aspects of project work - Pay is roughly in line with industry average - Good practice and standards within the technical side of the business and development team

      Cons

      - Really poor leadership - Quite a non-collaborative approach to work - Sometimes 'Yes' culture to projects and clients, limited resources, resulting in unsustainable working practices, a different process each time and no room to really get your hands on and heads into the work - Very little care or attention for employee health and mental wellbeing - Zero company culture and team ethic - Cold atmosphere, can feels like a group of disengaged freelancers - Real lack of perks and niceties - Office isn't a nice place to work, could do with modernising - No true HR, little integrity and process

However, in the interest of providing GlassDoor users with a balanced view, we feel obliged to point out that the reason your employment with AtomicMedia came to an end after just 9 months was due to your position becoming untenable due to a gross misconduct claim made against you, and you therefore decided to resign on your own accord. We hope that you find another role but we are saddened to find that you have decided to leave an unfair and poor review.
