Collaborative team culture but facing financial instability
Pros
The day-to-day teams and coworkers are incredible. It’s a very collaborative environment where people genuine care about supporting one another. Working with the client base was a highlight; the customers are a pleasure to interact with. There is an abundance of internal documentation and resources available, making it easy to self-serve and find the answers you need to do your job effectively. The unlimited PTO policy and flexible time off are excellent benefits that truly support work-life balance.
Cons
Zywave seems to face ongoing financial instability, evidenced by rounds of mass layoffs that seem to occur every few months. It creates an underlying sense of anxiety. Hard work is rarely recognized or rewarded proactively. Raises are minimal (typically around 2–3%), and the company rarely offers promotions or substantial increases unless you leverage an outside offer or threaten to resign. The software can be quite glitchy, and new features or products are often rolled out in an unclear, rushed manner.
