Pros

- Amazing team with very smart people - Awesome content - Gaming conferences - Best remote culture - Gaming and education allowance

Cons

- Management change that broke the company - Unqualified people have too much influence - Consolidated the company into an office in LA - Laid people off then realized it was a mistake - Hypocritical policies - New management is unqualified to run a hotdog stand

Pros

* Great benefits. * Great people. * Get to work with games. * Gaming allowance.

Cons

* New leadership came in, fired everyone, forced a 10+ year remote company to relocate to a central office to "synergize". * Have to relocate to LA - who in technology wants to live in LA when Silicon Valley is so close? * New director of development couldn't direct anyone out of a paper bag.

Pros

* Working remote can be great for some employees, but they've seriously trimmed that down over the years * IT's steady work?

Cons

* Company going through lots of changes. HR seemed a mess. Reviews went one way one year, and then differently the next. * If you have goals set in one review, make sure to figure out what your real goals are, because they'll be a step or two beyond what you actually set out. * No raises, though we did once receive a bonus, and that was good. But after several years with the company, never received even a cost of living raise. * If you're not in the office "in" crowd, you might end up with some troubles here. * They don't care about the quality of your work - just the quantity and that you do it ASAP. * This isn't a tech company. It's a games media company. Keep this in mind. * Certain jobs will have almost no work-life balance.
