Pros

Flexible hours, decent starting pay, full medical benefits, and they encourage you to learn your tech. Fun co-workers.

Cons

The owner is more interested in politics than his business, and doesn't really seem to have much direction.

Wonderful Benefits and People but Low Pay

Pros

XMission sponsors a lot of events in the area and gets free tickets to things all the time. Staff also get a free colocation spot for their own server with 100Mbps which is wonderful for hosting. The admins are all extremely knowledgeable and the staff are all great to work with. You really learn a lot at this place and it is known in the area as a job to jump off from.

Cons

Pay is extremely low at around half what the industry in the area pays for comparable positions. Support department is starting to implement call center style management and is losing employees and irritating customers because of it.

Tech support positions are entry level and hourly rates for that position are competitive within Utah. Employees who have shown ambition, complete projects, and communicate their desires have worked up to six figure salaries, even though they started at entry level positions.
