      Pros

      The people are great; everyone is there to help each other.

      Cons

      Bureaucracy in leadership and inability to make decisions to stay relevant in the marketplace. There is a general sense of mediocrity amongst the culture that is accepted by leadership.

      Good Place To Start, Look Elsewhere Mid-Career

      Pros

      Vivid's employee culture is amazing. It really does feel like family there. People are mostly professional and caring. Generally a fun place to work.

      Cons

      Even though Vivid is a tech company, its run very traditionally. Management can be hierarchical, lacks transparency, and often makes decisions that seem counter to what is being said publicly. Pay if you're new to the workforce is reasonable, but is low for anyone else, even for the area, and outside of the sales team, don't expect to share in the company's rapidly rising revenue. Do expect an ever increasing workload due to this growth. Vivid would be a good place to start a career, gain skills and experience, then move somewhere else with better career advancement opportunities.

      It is like a 10 year start-up. Lost of flexibility to think outside the box and invent new products.

      Cons

      Slow to keep products up to date and to create new products.
