Pros

Vivid's employee culture is amazing. It really does feel like family there. People are mostly professional and caring. Generally a fun place to work.

Cons

Even though Vivid is a tech company, its run very traditionally. Management can be hierarchical, lacks transparency, and often makes decisions that seem counter to what is being said publicly. Pay if you're new to the workforce is reasonable, but is low for anyone else, even for the area, and outside of the sales team, don't expect to share in the company's rapidly rising revenue. Do expect an ever increasing workload due to this growth. Vivid would be a good place to start a career, gain skills and experience, then move somewhere else with better career advancement opportunities.

Pros

I worked at Vivid for over six years and can start by saying that my experience was always positive. The work environment functioned more as a family rather than a bureaucracy. Your voice can be heard and your opinions are encouraged. Upper management goes above and beyond to listen to employees and is very involved with making the office a friendly place to work. I highly recommend this company especially if you are just starting your career. A few other pros: -Product that can actually save lives! -Company that is built for growth -Visionary CEO that is very involved with day to day operations -Good compensation -Good benefits -Flexible management -Friendly co-workers -Family oriented events -Great reputation within the Community

Cons

While my experience was very positive, there are a couple of small areas I can suggest for improvement. Communication between upper management and their respected departments needs to be more transparent. Vivid is a smaller organization so rapid change is naturally going to occur but decisions are usually made with very little insight to employees before they happen. Keeping employees in the loop early on will make these decisions feel less abrupt. Another suggestion for improvement would be to think big! The company and product is scalable yet the only office is in Washington. Don’t be afraid to expand your offices to other lucrative cities and hire talent within. The product is great but needs more people selling it.
