I worked at Visier full-time for more than a year

    Pros

This is a good place to get experience if you are a recent grad with less than 2 years experience. You'll meet other young and ambitious coworkers with similar aspirations. The tech company perks such as casual clothing, free snacks, beer, ping pong, and catered monthly meetups make for a good environment. Several people will branch out into other interested places for work so its a good place to start your networking

    Cons

Young leading the young environment. New initiatives get started, scrapped, and replace on the regular. After a while it makes you wonder what's the point.

I worked at Visier full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Pay is sufficient, benefits are alright. Central location with a gym in the building. Lots of restaurants nearby. Snacks and drinks. Beer fridays on site!

    Cons

Leaders are still operating with ancient management skills from the 90s. I felt like a toxic old boy's club environment - just take a look at senior leadership! I was enthusiastic to leave after less than a year.

I have been working at Visier full-time

    Pros

Senior management always gets their bonus

    Cons

Very cliquish and high-school-like - performance is based on popularity and not on merit. Most employees are disposable and multiple large layoffs to adjust for sales not closing deals. Struggle to land new clients leads to constant change in strategy - stressful to staff and creates an obvious lack of synergy and connection between management and employees. Age discrimination abounds with seasoned professionals often passed over for promotions in favor of cheaper / inexperienced employees that will do as told.

I worked at Visier full-time for more than a year

    Pros

There are some employees who are true thought leaders in the HR space Product delivers true value. Clear leader in the workforce analytics space

    Cons

Product is an extremely difficult sell. Probably needs to be supplemented with an analytics platform to make it more attractive to the masses in HR Pockets of executive management are painfully immature which has led to disfunction in their groups.

I worked at Visier full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Working on a worthwhile product for which people care about getting the right numbers.

    Cons

Long hours and little time off - exhausting. More money than I needed with no time to enjoy it. Bugs may not be acknowledged and scheduled for fixing until they cause customer complaints.

    I worked at Visier full-time

    Pros

Friendly smart co-workers. Some work flexibility depending on which team you are on. Good solution for HR companies. You can learn a lot of domain knowledge about HR if you are interested in it.

    Cons

External people (mostly ex SAP) are hired for almost all new positions. Internal employee growth is not a priority (not counting lip service). No realistic path for working on what you're interested in. The company does not care about your career growth, only what job title you have. Expected timeline for advancement is unreasonable unless you happen to know/be management from Crystal/SAP. Not much transferrable technical knowledge because of proprietary tech Pay is low when workload and opportunity costs are taken into account.
