Work on a lot of different projects and get lots of experience in many different areas, disciplines, tools and environments. Always open to new ideas, new challenges, new products and new development as well as improvement in existing systems.
Cons
Small staff which means you don't always have the amenities a larger company would have or the larger levels of resources means sometimes there are things they would be willing to try, they don't have the resources. They are, however, open to trying things as resources do become available so it's not all bad.
