There are some wonderful people who work here and have made it through some difficult times.
Cons
Management will overwork you and say it appreciates you but fail to compensate its valued employees. Even after losing key people, lessons have not been learned. The lean years are behind us and while the company is struggling to find quality people to hire it will also be losing key experienced employees who will be very difficult to replace.

Friends there, nice people before 2018
Cons
New manager knew nothing about staff management and technique but like to micromanaged technical work. very toxic management and some experienced people from other groups who worked with her in the projects and all left due to her.

Pros
They offer good benefit and they have provided good working environment. If you stay there for more than a year, usually no one ask you to work hard. As long as you can pretend you have somethings to do no one care if you really work or not. You will have plenty of time to learn new technologies, but you must do it yourself and don't expect others teach you or ask you to work on those technologies. You have to do it yourself and better not to tell anyone.
Cons
If you are friend with your boss or managers, you are safe. If you are like normal employee, usually you will be laid off in the first lay offs. In the production line, the life time of a product is about 5 to 7 years and after that you have to be prepared for lay offs. Your knowledge is not important, the only important thing is being friend with bosses or managers or be in their teams. I didn't like the office politics in there. Some employees never work at all (even 1 hour a week) but they never laid off in past years. Payments are not high compare with other provinces, but SK is not an expensive province.

Some co-workers were nice and helpful.
Cons
Management creates toxic atmosphere. As a result, high turnover. They run everything like they are stuck in 20th century, and micromanage each your step. No tolerance to make innovative suggestions. If you dare to voice your concerns, you risk to be thrown out even if you are a full time permanent employee. They do not have consideration for the Labour Law, and as far as I know, they have been sued many times.

Pros
Excellent work-life balance with benefits. The HR team really seems to care and help during the interview process and onboarding training too. My fellow team members have been wonderful helping me set up in my technical area. Till now I never felt like an employee because my manager and team treat me as a person. I look forward to making a full career at Vecima and Recommend this company to a youngster like me.
Cons
Nothing I can think of
