Zoom meeting with the hiring manager who didn't start with the camera on but proceeded to tell me this was a get-to-know-you call and see if this is a fit. Already a weird start. After a few minutes of reviewing my background which matches perfectly for the job, she started asking for examples of my work. I couldn't produce any examples because they are all property of my past employers and I don't have it. The interview was over quickly. She didn't accomplish her goal of getting to know me. Annoyed but more relieved to avoid this one.
- Why are you looking for this job?
- Tell me about your most recent role.
- Can you show examples of your work?

I applied through the university's coop program. I took the interview in February 2021. The interview is set to be difficult to test where my boundaries are, but the interviewers did a good job in making me feel relaxed. The interview experience helped me to make my final decision to become a part of the company.

I applied to a job posting from a recruitment agency. The recruiter was not professional. He didn't return calls initially and got my name wrong multiple times. I was called for an interview 1 week later. Interviewed with HR and quality manager. HR questions were behavior related. This role is a limited time contract role only. Quality manager asked technical questions but he didn't seem to know the concepts himself. After technical questions they asked about my physical abilities. I understood this job has lots of manual labor which is difficult. They want someone to train their internal staff so that inspection activities can continue after the role ends. Didnot move forward.
- Can you lift heavy objects and operate production and assembly tools?
- What do you know about ISO 9001?
- Do you know inspection?
- When can you join?

No behavior questions. Technique questions mainly are what you have learned in school and they expect you to know Operating System, but if you don't know something, it's also fine since they will give you training, and they taught you the knowledge points that they asked but you didn't know. They also asked about Data Structures, preferred languages, Operating System, etc. Also, code and debug on the white board. The interviewers are super nice, trying to help you a lot.
