Pros

Good for early career professionals to see how things work behind the scenes for “grassroots” movements. Also good to see what to do, and what NOT to do in this progressive advocacy space.

Cons

Top-heavy, little real investment into junior staff, no clear rules for what could constitute termination and hitting you with lawyers and contracts to cover their you know what. Preference for a certain type of person who shares certain characteristics with the CEO.

Pros

-the health insurance - folks of color

Cons

-the white people -openly racist -mission driven to the point where people forgot there's more to life -The economic team are freaks who have no life -the only way to move up is for leadership to love you... so if you're a white person you're doing fine sweetie -if you're a person of color, you're basically treated as a employee doing the color with no means to teach you more or grow into what's next -the pay is bad... again if you're white don't worry about it because you're likely to get a promotion -leadership truly think they're white saviors...they're more demons embodied -don't expect any career growth here if you're a person of color
