Pros

Some of the people that you work with

Cons

Not sure where I should start from. 1. This is one of the many start ups that has unrealistic goals and to achieve those goals, they put unrealistic expectations on their employees. 2. You will always feel rushed and chaotic There is zero work life balance and it is promoted from the leadership. They will say that please take time off when you need but as soon as you take some time off, you are burdened with triple the amount of work. Therefore you start dreading to do so. 3. You are expected to be available and working all the time and as if you don’t have a life outside of work and they are proud of this toxic culture. 4. They take pride in the Hire and Fire culture. 5. They are the organization that makes you feel that, “These are the type of organizations that I want to stay away from, lesson learned!” 6. They over sell the IPO 7. No human factor. People are treated as objects. 8. You are held accountable for smallest mistakes and they are frowned upon. The leadership team won’t let it go easily. 9. There is zero career development and no learning plan for anyone The list goes on but these were some of the highlights

It's important to us that our team feels valued and respected. We offer employees open forum to give anonymous feedback every 6 weeks at Town Hall and through anonymous Pulse Surveys regularly. We would hope that all employees feel empowered to bring such concerns forward if they are unhappy.

Pros

- Recently Funded === better pay And that's pretty much it.

Cons

- Everyone's drinking the IPO kool-aid, after series A. - They became profitable by firing half the staff on the onset of pandemic, and used that to get more funding. - The product is all over the place, with no meaningful answers around ambiguity. - There seems to always be a rush, prolly because of the number of interns hired. The codebase is in a bad shape with no ideas around how to fix it. - Everyone feels and sounds overworked, the meetings are a drag. Everyone is running late to the meetings because there is just so much of it.

This page is not being manipulated in any way. We take this very seriously and live by our core value of being open and transparent. We do hope any employee with concerns takes on this value and speaks to leadership about their concerns. We are constantly looking at ways to improve our employee experience and it's unfortunate we weren't able to succeed in that department with you.

Pros

Uber eats & Remote Work

Cons

Throughout my career, I've been through my fair share of workplace challenges, but nothing could prepare me for the sheer toxicity that permeates this company. From the top down, the lack of emotional intelligence and empathy is staggering. The executive-level leadership is condescending, dismissive, and clearly doesn't care about the well-being of their employees. The treatment of direct reports is appalling. They are constantly belittled and degraded in front of their colleagues. Middle management in the product team is more concerned with saving face than supporting their team. It's a culture of fear and intimidation. The co-founders are micromanagers, involving themselves in every decision, no matter how insignificant. This stifles innovation and growth, leaving little room for creativity or new ideas. The company's purported values are nothing but a joke. "Move fast and with intention" is just a fancy way of saying "produce quickly or get out." The high rates of burnout and depression are a direct result of this toxic environment, but many employees are too afraid to leave due to the job market. The median employee tenure of just 1.1 years speaks volumes about the state of the company. Managers are always on the lookout for weaknesses to exploit and use to make employees feel inadequate. In all honesty, I would not recommend this company to anyone. It's a nightmare to work here, and the toll it takes on your mental health is just not worth it.
