Pros
The actual day to day as front office staff at this job was awesome and I stayed for 3 years due to this. My direct manager was amazing and was consistently rooting for my success and believed in my contributions to the team. The residents made the job so lovable as I felt I could genuinely add value to their lives and, I can't lie, they added that value back to mine too.
Cons
There is absolutely no HR and there is absolutely coercion and toxicity deeply rooted in this company. You need to be in with the "correct" posse otherwise you will never be good enough and genuinely bullied. This is not a one off case and has happened to many former people. Operations are a friend to everyone aka a friend to no one and "step in as HR when necessary". I would have gone to FairWork for harassment and bullying in the workplace if I didn't need to stay actively working there to do so (I was worried it would make it worse while actively employed, especially with no actual HR). Really disappointing because the residents are amazing and I miss our connection dearly. Also, while I'm at it... They will say there are opportunities at this company but there are virtually no opportunities for growth and they will directly lie to faces of trustworthy employees.
