Pros
I have been working at Smartify for 1.5 years now and absolutely happy. It's a young, dynamic and constantly growing company (we have had a few new colleges joining the company every month). What I really like is: - Great team: very competent management (I had different experience before and don't take it for granted) and great colleges I enjoy working with and can always rely on. Most of the team are German, however we have quite a few people from different countries and backgrounds now, so the working language is German and/or English depending on the project. I also like that we have quite a few women in data engineering and software (including myself) - Flexible working hours: it doesn't matter whether you prefer working in the morning or late in the evening hours, what matters is what you deliver. I have a child and like that I can plan my day in the way that sports, hobbies and kids activities fit my schedule. - Flexible home office: I have an option to work either remote from home or in the office which is next to the underground station (however I prefer to commute by bike), and I can decide myself when to work from home or to go to the office. - Hardware / Software: I had a free choice between Mac or ThinkPad (with either Windows or Linux), most of developers here prefer working with Linux

Sometimes very tight deadlines and a few days more holidays wouldn't hurt either
