Pros

Company provides free alcohol to all staff to drink during work hours on Fridays which makes the poor management slightly more tolerable?

Cons

People are hired and promoted based on being a "good culture fit" and not based on education or work experience. There are no women in the management team. The office environment is tense because staff are afraid to voice their opinion. Staff is encouraged to be vulnerable and communicate however if the opinion or suggestion does not align with management you will be treated differently and excluded. Lack of HR support has led to negative employer / employee interactions and a high turn over rate.

Pros

Great people and great funding product!

Cons

Company culture is just a front! Core values are barely existant but its sound cool to attract people. They dont trust their staff and need to overlook every single thing. That type of management isn’t made for a long run with talented people on the field. There was good hopes with new leadership team but finally, not better at all.

Pros

A great work environment with an emphasis on core values and teamwork. Every effort is made to make sure you feel included. From administrative staff to management, you are encouraged and valued for your feedback and opinion. I have never worked in such a cooperative atmosphere before where everyone is willing to help and support you. As a Certified B Corp. they are a proactive member of their community and are a charity partner of Opportunities International who provide micro financing to assist people get out of poverty. Staff are encouraged to be active in their community and volunteer. Many extras on top of your regular salary/benefit package such as staff lunches, team building events and an after business "happy hour" on Friday evenings where staff can mingle and enjoy each others company away from their desks.

Cons

Being in Canada for only 4 years they are challenged by finding staff to keep up with the growth but it affords many opportunities for career advancement as they expand.
