Saltbox (GA) Reviews

I was fired with no cause and no warning 2 weeks before Christmas and with a wife that was 8-months pregnant. This company doesn't care about its employees, even a little bit. I was told I was fired because of performance issues that had not improved, which was bogus because I was hitting the metrics I was in control of and I hadn't even had an official performance review yet (it was scheduled for two days after I was fired). I believe, but cannot prove, that I was actually fired because I wanted to take paternity leave, God forbid. I am relieved to not be working for Saltbox anymore, because it is by far the most poorly managed company I've ever worked for, which made my job extremely stressful. If you like working for the villain in the Christmas movie, then by all means work here, but I don't recommend it.

This company has been through 2 major layoffs already, so know that if you are looking for a home, you will not find it at Saltbox. Expect a fear based environment where there were at least 3 public firings of leadership. I literally mean emails were sent by the CEOs with everyone at the company copied, firing executives. It felt personal, extremely unprofessional, insensitive and must have been humiliating for those impacted. The CEOs are simply out of touch with basic social grace, including but not limited to the CEO's wife posting home improvements and boastful vacations as employees were laid off.
