-There used to be a lot of young people
-Good networking
-Nice office space
-Good amount of vacation time (but no sick time)
Cons
-Different teams are treated (and paid) inequitably with little transparency
-Not a stable work environment
-Lots of turnover
-Not a lot of room to grow
-Hired management that had shiny resumes but not good people management skills
-Takes forever to hire
-Not a good place for junior staff
-questionable decisions made by management
Fun, collaborative work culture. Lots of PTO and company encourages work/life balance. Engaging content to think about. Well connected to the community.
Cons
No pathway up or room for growth. You are not valued unless you contribute to policy. Very low salaries if you’re not on the policy team. SPUR does not have any good managers, meaning lower level employees get treated very poorly (management does not acknowledge or care). SPUR let go an administrative employee during COVID-19 outbreak. Shameful!
