Pros

- Unlimited PTO - Great coworkers - Remote work - Summer Fridays are fantastic - Employee recognition and wellness efforts have gotten much better

Cons

- Executive leadership isn't very transparent and is constantly looking for ways to cut costs without promoting people and letting people go from so-called "legacy" products that still bring in a lot of the company's ARR. We are told to focus our time on the new products but rollout has been messy and direction has been confusing. - They now rarely hire new people to fill in roles for people who left leaving the rest of us to fill in the blanks and work overtime to accommodate staff shortages (more particularly in dev). People tend to reply and check in when they should be on vacation which is not something that should be expected of employees. - Promotions and raises are more difficult to come by now but a ton of money is spent on marketing and acquistions so there is definitely no shortage of money... - Employee turnover has increased significantly in the past year.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're glad to hear you value our workplace culture benefits. These programs reflect our continued commitment to supporting our team in meaningful ways. We also recognize and appreciate your honest feedback regarding areas where you feel we’ve fallen short. Transparency, clear communication, and fair workload distribution are critical to a healthy culture, and we hear your concerns. While our company has been evolving rapidly to meet changing market demands, we know that this pace can bring challenges, especially around resourcing and clarity of direction. We strongly encourage you to sign up for one of our “Chat with the CEO” meetings, as these are open forums designed specifically for team members to share feedback, ask questions, and voice concerns directly. Additionally, People Operations is always available and welcomes one-on-one conversations to help address any issues you’re facing. We appreciate your perspective and remain committed to making Routeware a place where employees feel heard, valued, and supported.

Pros

- Unlimited PTO - Standard benefits (as a Canadians)

Cons

We are always chasing the new and shiny things that get acquired. Acquisitions are used to grow the company, but they result in a disjointed culture and process. We frequently have to train new staff on our processes. Frequent lay-offs. There's a real lack of diversity at the top with no signs of that changing.

Pros

- Flexible work schedule and good time off policy - Fair salary - Good health benefits - Management do their best to help you - Good HR team and policies - Good for management positions for offshore teams

Cons

- Downscaling NA workforce, and upscaling international offshoring workforce - No stock incentive - Not the greatest for market value engineers in NA. - Depleted capable workforce - Overloaded with work, or idle - 12hr time zones are difficult to navigate.
