Pros

Product and field are very interesting, some really great brands as clients. The people are genuinely very nice, though many have left recently. Multiculturalism is encouraged and revered. Benefits are okay, though there’s still improvements that could be made. Job is interesting but very little chance for progressions because company is very top-heavy.

Cons

Senior Management team took their eyes off the ball and have now lost the essence of what made Reward great in the first place – the people. Because it wasn’t being reinforced by the senior team, by the end the culture itself was entirely dependent on a handful of staff members who now no longer work there. There’s been a mass exodus of staff (some of which were let go by the company and others who have had enough) which doesn’t look like it’s slowing down any time soon. There’s an inner circle with senior management and some of the staff – anyone outside this circle isn’t treated well and I’ve witnessed some bullying behaviour which never gets addressed even when reported. The vision of Reward is being overlooked because I think they’re gearing up to be sold, which explains why entire departments have been stripped of staff. But in their rush to minimise their operating costs so that the books look better, there’s been a lot of operational mistakes that have cost Reward some huge clients. I truly believe these mistakes are being made because the staff don’t believe in the vision anymore and that they aren’t motivated or treated well.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, we truly value your feedback. We agree, Reward is made up of dedicated, passionate, diverse and friendly individuals. The product itself and our data are incredible assets and we are in the process of hiring a Business Product Manager to accelerate these even further. Reward has been through a period of transition, with some tough decisions made within our Technology and Sales teams. With any business change there are inevitable knock on effects. Conscious of this, we have worked hard over the last 6 months to take a real look in the mirror. We’ve revisited and redefined Reward’s brand essence including articulating our business vision and mission and importantly the values and behaviours we expect to see exhibited across the business from top to bottom. During this process we took the time to revisit and clarify the foundations of our business because we know that in doing so it will help every existing employee and future employees to get a real sense of what it is like to be part of the family. We recognise that this is a journey and something that requires continual focus, but with our refreshed brand and rejuvenated sense of culture the future feels bright and we are seeing positive feedback across the team. All the best for the future.

Pros

None worth mentioning that outweigh the deeply toxic environment.

Cons

This company is by far one of the most hostile and demoralizing workplaces I’ve ever encountered. Staff are routinely treated poorly, and bullying from Senior Management is not only tolerated—it’s the norm. I personally witnessed a high-ranking C-suite executive verbally abuse employees without provocation or justification, in front of others, creating a culture of fear and intimidation. If you raise concerns or speak up about the treatment, HR will either ignore you or gaslight you into silence. Continue raising legitimate issues, and you’ll soon find yourself pushed out. There is no true support system for employees, and zero accountability for those in power. Goals are completely unrealistic, with expectations frequently changing with no clear rationale. Despite the pressure, compensation is far below market rates for the roles and responsibilities required. There is a deeply entrenched clique culture here. Only a select group of favored individuals receive recognition, advancement, or praise. Everyone else is treated as disposable, regardless of their performance or contribution.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We take allegations of bullying, verbal abuse, or any inappropriate behaviour very seriously. No employee should ever feel intimidated, unsafe, or unsupported at work, and such behaviour is not aligned with our values. We also strongly reject the assertion that “HR will either ignore you or gaslight you into silence.” We have no record of any reports being raised regarding the incidents described. If you or anyone else experiences this kind of treatment, we strongly encourage you to report it to HR or through our formal reporting channels immediately. All reports are treated confidentially and are thoroughly investigated, and it is only through reporting that concerns can be addressed appropriately. Culture is shaped by everyone within an organisation, and employees play a critical role in influencing the environment in which they work. Raising concerns is not only your right but also your responsibility as it helps ensure accountability, fosters a positive workplace, and strengthens the overall culture for everyone. We are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and supportive workplace for all employees. Feedback like yours is taken seriously as part of our ongoing efforts to ensure accountability and continue improving our culture.
