Pros

-Work independently (you could say too independently)

Cons

-No one teaches you how to sell -theres no accountability -when majority of office hits sales goal, manager increases difficulty -wear and tear on your car -you could be sent to a dangerous area to work in and management expects you to knock doors

Pros

You get some scheduling flexibility.

Cons

Pretty much everything else. Agents run a debit route. You are a bill collector who's expected to sell insurance policies. Policy holders give you the run around. Outdated tech, no work-life balance.

Pros

Great start for anyone looking to work in the field of insurance

Cons

Most of your time and energy will be spent on making sure that your 400+ clients pay their monthly premium. Otherwise, your pay check is affected
