Messy - Absorbed our company and it's just going down hill

Pays the bill, even tho, they make payroll mistakes a lot

Cons

Management just care about profits Culture does not exist Tools are non existent They hire everyone, sweat shop, no barrier to entry, senior engineers have to take the work for the other engineers. For the most part, project management is bad, unhappy customers, unhappy developers, huge turnover Sales people just sell, but they don't involve the technical team, hence projects tend to be a disaster

Ok while going public, went WAYYYY downhill after the IPO and the penny pinching started.

Pros

Lots of learning opportunities if you are new to the business. Good co workers for the most part.

Cons

Overpaid for the company that they purchased to go public. Was great while going through the process of going through the IPO. The new CFO "Course Corrected" by nickel and diming by slowly chipping away at benefits, bonuses, commissions etc. Seemed like they where making it easy for people to find the door themselves so they didn't have to fire them or package them out.

Lots of learning, especially in AWS cloud Rackspace future could become exciting with multi cloud and different technologies

Cons

No work-life balance Low salaries in Canada. Company earns in US dollars from US customers, gets dollar conversion advantage, but pays far lower in Canada. Company takes advantage of the employee Your timesheet is tracked hourly Company doesn't invest in resources. You wouldn't get trained on anything. Whatever you study for certs has to be on your own time even though company benefits from the part er status of certs.
