Toxic environment with no growth opportunities

Pros

Nothing positive to note during my time here.

Cons

Working here has been a real low-point in my career. There are limited growth opportunities, 12+ hour days, countless people getting hired and then fired with no explanation, and a real lack of diversity. I am actively seeking new opportunites, and I strongly urge anyone reading this considering an offer from Qargo to steer clear.

Pros

It was nice to go to Ghent for some product training.

Cons

I would not recommend working here at all. There is no work-life balance, opportunities are limited, travel is 5-6 days per week.

Pros

There are no positives to note.

Cons

I have been with Qargo for a little over 6 months now, and it has not been smooth sailing at all. There is far too much pressure on us to work 12+ hour days for little reward. We are expected to travel relentlessly, even though the position is advertised as "remote with occasional travel." There was limited training upon joining, with the only training coming from watching recordings of previous meetings. They have also let some of my colleagues go abruptly for no reason even after one of them had closed the biggest deal in the history of a certain market which means we are all keeping our heads on a swivel, and not engaging with each other due to this lack of trust and transparency. This also means that we have to wait for new hires to get up to speed when my previous collegues were performing well above the required standard. The company has also opened a US office recently instead of ironing out issues at home in London or the Ghent office. A lot of us feel hard done by that visa sponsorship has gone to people who haven't displayed the ability, management skills or personality to have this selection, showing blatant favouritism. I plan to look for a new job so that I can get my work-life balance back to an acceptable level.
