I worked at Projectplace full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Great software! Swedish HQ. Salary decent, yet nothing to write home about. Frankfurt Office (shared office though)

    Cons

Where to start. If you want to understand a sales organisation, look at their turnover and attrition rate over time. The sales management at Projectplace in Germany is regularly churning employees and its not hard to see why. If you're currently thinking about joining the company, take the time to browse through LinkedIn to look for ex-employees, there's a never-ending list of people who have all worked at the company and have left within only a short timeframe. The only people staying here are management. I've worked at this place, it was a major mistake. The incompetence of sales management in Germany is hard to beat and not only in technical or professional skills but also on a personal level. Everywhere you ask, everyone only rolls their eyes at the German sales org. What to expect? 1. Bullying is commonly used to pressure people into working hard, only for the best deals to then being shifted away from you and towards the manager herself. Makes management look great indeed and leaves you with no commission whatsoever. 2. Racist attitude. On multiple occasions, the management ranted of people from Turkish or Eastern European descent. It's embarrassing, to say the least. 3. Nepotism. Nothing to add here, people getting hired based on friendship rather than on professional merit. Overall a clear advice for anyone thinking of joining. Don't, there plenty of decent companies who value their employees.

    Pros

I would rather say only few are good, but even they have left organisation ....

    Cons

Very much assured benefits & the so called management is so wonderful only at the time of joining ( HR, CEO) as an employee you can never suggest anything to these people, you will have to count your days..very much stupid behavior

I have been working at Projectplace full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Some of the best people I've ever worked with. Great ability to progress and to take on responsibilities. Dedicated and passionate product development teams. Cross functional teams! Managers are not micromanagers or dictators, instead a rich agile culture with mild hierarchy.

    Cons

As the company has grown there have been a few pains along the way, which is nearly unavoidable. Scaling agile sounds really cool, but it really takes unceasing effort.

I worked at Projectplace full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Getting more international exposure and help from strong owners, jumpstart in US and more spread across EMEA

    Cons

New management in Austin US is really bad and they work differently from a Swedish company. They work to much in silos

I have been working at Projectplace full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Very diversified group of people - all kinds of personalities and cultural backgrounds / country of origin. In the technical departments team work is key, we make it happen together and everyone (junior or senior) can influence. Possible to approach any manager (including CEO). Stable and profitable.

    Cons

Due to the company size and flatness of the company structure there aren't so many opportunities for a career in regards to promotions to management positions. The stability of the company (been in business as a SAAS since 1998, longer than Google) affects the openness for radical ideas and changes; it's current thriving business might be causing risk aversion (and possibly prevents rapid exponential growth).

I have been working at Projectplace full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Good Salary. Freedom at work. If you know how to, you can do it the way you want. Great people around. Healthy collaboration between people as the number of people is less. Get together is Sweden at the start of the year. You are treated with respect.

    Cons

Way too much importance on processes. Meetings galore. More meetings than you would wish for. No downtime. Even if you have finished your week's work in three days, find something else to do in the remaining days. Can't just sit and relax. Indian managers indulge in favoritism and prejudice unlike the Swedish counterparts who are unbiased. Since the number of employees is less, there's no caterer yet. So bring your own food.
