      Toxic culture where favoritism is the only thing that matters

      A paycheck and remote work.

      Cons

      Kiss up punch down culture disguised as "we're like a family". A wildly dysfunctional family. The work is not true consulting but staff aug work and over 50% of the work is one client. Favoritism is the only way to be successful and performance doesn't matter if you're not "popular". Which leads me to.... HR is super immature. The Head of Talent has no HR/Talent/Recruiting background but she is good friends with the President which is how she got the gig and why she can mistreat people and has so much control. The org is just toxic. I'm not giving an original review but the culture is toxic with favoritism leading the way.

      Internal Politics Low opportunity for promotion required activity HR is heavily involved in performance/promotion discussion when they have no line of sight to the work conducted by the resporces. Becomes a game of favorites at some point. Leadership hands out firm building roles to people they like ...which is a requirement to get promoted so bacically its favoritism. IF you are Big4 STAY AWAY Managers are full of people who have no idea what they are doing. Junior resources like analysts are terrible with tactical work and data If you want to destroy your career trajectory, join this firm.
