Pros

They have a nice selection of products.

Cons

Where do I start! Oh my!! This company is a total telemarketing deal! They really do not care about their employees, only themselves! The idea of you sitting at your desk and dialing numbers all over the map is a total joke! Did I mentioned that they have management making sure that you are doing your calls by checking out your telephone conversations! They do not trust anyone! They are so paranoid it's unbelievable! Since I have worked here they have had such a high turnover rate of employees! Oh,they can also fire you at anytime if they feel they do not like you! Stay away if you are looking for a nice and comfortable job or a career! Make sure you do the research on this company before you apply! Good Luck!

This is One Mistake You Don't Need to Make

Pros

You can read the reviews on the company and learn from the mistakes of others. Walk away and never look back. The list of pros for Pro-Vision is short. Many, but not all of the team members are wonderful people. Unfortunately, most of the team doesn't stay long when they realize the opportunities explained in the interview process don't exist or are highly exaggerated. The management team is a close knit group that works very hard to protect their own interests over those of the rest of the team.

Cons

This list is much longer, but once again, you can stop here and walk away. Pro-Vision serves up systematically high turnover, micromanagement, shifting compensation plans and braggadocious owners who place more emphasis on getting awards hailing their supposed brilliance (does anyone really care about the Inc. 5000 list) than actually developing their business model into one that is a win-win for everyone. Your customers would prefer to be treated less shabbily as well. If something doesn't work, provide refunds, solutions and alternatives. Stand behind your products. If you are in sales, this is a pretty big hurdle to overcome if you're seeking to create any kind of client relationship. Sub-performing products are not a business strategy.

Pros

At first, there was a great opportunity to make a great commission and run your region.

Cons

Not sure where to begin. Originally the 100% commission was fine across all 3 Industries. Once the greed came about, the "we want it all attitude" things went downhill. Each Region split into 3, so 12 RM's to 36 RM's. Basically a huge pay cut for current RM's with no change to the owner-ships pockets. New RM's were given a small base salary when starting, then that was quickly taken away once they found that nobody new was producing or making any money. All expenses are paid by RM's, so if you consistently don't sell during travel weeks, you can end up owing the company money. You're given a company card for expenses so they gain the points, while you pay the way. Micro-management on a daily basis, recorded calls, tracked call volume, record video in building, track cars via gps, recorded video in all company cars...you get the picture as far as trust goes. Commissions are taken away, always needing to track your sales and your paycheck. Again, things used to be great until the greed kicked in. Now an entire Inside Sales Staff has been let go, more responsibilities on the RM's with no pay increase. (Yearly draw of $12k, if you exceed the $12k draw, you don't get a paycheck. You will be in the red right off the gate. You pay for Hotels, Gas, Meals etc., there are no reimbursements. Many positions open now that can't be filled due to those quitting after the first week. Ads still say opportunity for $100-150k a year which may of held true a year ago. You will be a "statistical" number, person in a chair to fill a seat.
