Pros

- Kristen and Jon lead with empathy and truly care how about your personal and professional goals. They've created a unique environment where "people first" is often touted and you can truly be your authentic self. You're cheered on when you can recognize "swampy" feelings to get them out in the air and turn them around into something positive. They want to know exactly how you feel and what you're interested in so they can help shape your perfect career or shepherd you off into the world wherever you want to go/be. - Leadership fully recognizes that a happy, relaxed, and well-rested employee performs WAY better than one that is stressed or overworked. They often encourage us to take time for ourselves. If you need to start your day an hour late because you didn't sleep well the night before, that's cool! - A very flexible schedule! If you're a mom and have kids at home running around in the background, they get it and are SO flexible with your scheduling needs. Need to run an errand - no problem. - Having side gigs or other interests is something that is encouraged and many of the team have. - Our weekly team meetings are something everyone looks forward to and provide our 100% remote team a way to feel more personal and in touch with all. - Even though this job is remote, it does NOT feel like it! We frequently meet with other team members via Zoom for client meetings, one to one's, or even just to chat to catch up. - Everyone on the team is just brilliant! I've learned so much just by reading some of the messages in Slack or by watching a presentation given by a fellow team member. You will continue to learn new things on a daily basis. - The interview process was lengthy, BUT if you think about the fact that it's remote and you don't meet people (right away) it's completely understandable. They need to get to know you. And when you interview, your not just interviewing for the job. You're interviewing to be on the team. We're a family and leadership understands it needs to be the right fit for all. - We are now on employment status (no more contracting!) and they just introduced NEW benefits which include 3 months paid parental (maternity/paternity/adoption) leave and health benefits! Amazing!

Cons

- They don't have a retirement benefit set up but I do think it's in the works.

Pros

- Amazing collaboration in a remote work environment. - Everyone REALLY knows what they're doing. There's no pressure to be a high-performer, but everyone absolutely is. The shared drive for success creates astonishing alignment across departments. - Deeply flexible work/life arrangements make being a person easy. - The entire team at Prajna operates with a deeply heartfelt approach to their work, their relationship, their performance, and the needs of their clients. - Remarkable healthcare and family leave benefits. - Leadership genuinely engages in the growth of their employees and the sense of care for staff is palpable. - 1 week per quarter PTO is a glorious perk and leadership ensures that you take that time to refresh and revitalize. - Staff is encouraged to express their feelings, both personal and professional, and the team (peers and leadership) are truly - Dance breaks!

Cons

- On a regular basis, there is enough work to last into the evening, but only if you elect to work that late. There is, however, no pressure to do so. - Typical start-up growing pains. It's a young company and continues to work on departmental alignment to the work because the org is growing so quickly. - No 401k program currently

Pros

- Kristen and Jon are phenomenal leaders. They take care to ensure that their employees are taken care of, whether it's making sure that their career goals are aligned with the projects that they're working on to making sure that gratitude is an embedded part of the company culture. - The projects are diverse and interesting. There's a good mix of B2C and B2B work, and the best part is that Prajna is choosy about their clients; they're not afraid to let go of a client who doesn't treat the team well. - Everyone here is super competent at what they do, with deep backgrounds in marketing from huge brands like Mariott, Microsoft, and Gartner. Working at Prajna means standing shoulder-to-shoulder with some of the brightest marketing minds in the world. Period. - I've never heard anyone complain about their compensation, which is a first for any company I've worked at. - Hours are reasonable and you can set your own schedule. Few team members elect to work much more than 40 hours a week, and doing so is frowned upon. - Remote work!

Cons

- As of now, everyone is a contractor (though my understanding is that everyone will switch to employee status in January 2022). - Building off that point, some policies have yet to be formally solidified (family leave, bereavement leave, etc). I 100% believe that leadership is working on this lack of clarity and that this will be resolved once we switch to employee status, but for now it doesn't exist. Benefits come through a PEO, which means they're pretty cookie-cutter, but things like health & dental will be included. - This environment is not a place where someone who just wants work to be work to work. Everyone is aggressively friendly and there's weekly dancing (even on Zoom)--you have to be willing to be a bit of an extrovert to fully fit in. It's not uncommon to hear about your colleagues' personal lives. As I write this, I don't really see it as a "con" more than a "you should know."
