Absolutely horrid place to work at

Pros

The commute is fantastic, and my home office is a much warmer environment than the management culture. It is a fascinating daily case study to watch a leadership team operate with such total, unshakeable confidence that they have reached perfection. If you appreciate the efficiency of being ignored from the comfort of your own couch, working here provides that in spades.

Cons

Management has mastered the art of being very smart, ensuring that their entitlement and superiority complex translate perfectly across high-speed internet. Since they are already flawless, don't bother offering feedback—it’s viewed less as a suggestion and more as a punishable offense. They manage to look down on you even through a webcam, creating a lovely atmosphere where your only job is to agree with their brilliance. Truly a great place for anyone who wants to be treated like a child while working in their own living room.

Pros

Can work from home, that's the only good thing here

Cons

- Micromanagement - Australian working hours, not flexible. - Use GTalk to communicate, if you reply late, somehow it will be a horror show. "HELLO...!!!" ARE YOU THERE??? YES/NO??????? Something like that will decorate your chat pane... - Bosses always use bad words and arrogant. - Underpaid, but they think they have paid us in a very large amount. - Incompetent managers - Working hours is totally against what is written in the contract. You will be contacted during your holiday or outside the working hours. Working like 10 hours++ everyday but the bosses still think it is still not enough. You will be called, emailed, even on public holiday/annual leave. - Treat us like slaves/factory workers - Distrust from the management - Job description is not matched, you will be given various tasks which is not part of your job. But if you make mistake, BOOOM... It will get into a termination. No matter how long and how good you are. - Cut my contract just like that - Many people left the company (either resigned or terminated) - Bosses never listen to employees, they are always right, and have the rights to sudden termination, one sided. - Working from home, but worse than working from an office. You will never have time to go to the bathroom, never have time to make a cup of coffee, etc. If bosses look for you and you reply late (says 2 minutes late) then they will think you are working for something else. - Increase?? Forget it... It's just a dream... Stingy bosses, they count every pennies... - Intimidation everyday... - Seniority, bullying, etc
