This is probably where my review becomes a bit biased as I think my team & recent Planful hires are the only ones to experience this... When putting in my two weeks notice, the first words I heard from 4-5 different people (including execs) were "I'm sorry about what you went through here". Biased lead distribution to manager's favorite reps - and if you question it or call it out, you'll only be punished more They follow a geo-based territory model but it's really the wild wild west - nothing is organized here and there are truly no rules - it's do whatever you want and good luck getting results - almost every account gets hit by 3 AE's & 4 SDR's, I can only imagine what prospects and customers think about that Quota's have been set up so you will never have a chance to come close to your OTE and be successful here - for example in the last 3 quarters, 4/6 reps on my team did not only miss quota, but completely blanked all together. When ramping or if you get a deal that is big enough in ARR, you'll be forced to bring in a tenured AE for help and be asked to share commission and quota credit Inbound lead flow is non existent. Throughout the hiring process they will rave everyone is smashing their quota, has more leads than they know what to do with but in reality it is the complete opposite. 90% of your time as an AE you will be prospecting. Or you might just get "lucky" and get an inbound lead once a month and it will be a company so far outside of the ICP you might as well not waste your time. SDR's are fine with doing less than the bare minimum and leadership seems to be okay with that too. Spamming 2000 emails a day, and maybe making 40 calls a week is completely okay with them. They will book 2-3 meetings a week as a team and they will not even be qualified. The most work SDR's do is asking IT to help get back into their gmail account once a day because they've been locked out of their accounts due to spam. Verbally abusive management & sales leaders - will shame you publicly in front of your peers but also in front of customers. If you bring this to HR, you will be fired for speaking up. I watched this happen with my own eyes on one occasion. If you take PTO you'll be told you don't work hard enough and don't deserve a vacation - you'll then be harassed while on PTO and be forced to take meetings Whenever management makes changes, tries to improve processes, or rally the team, nothing will ever happen. It's like talking in circles and waiting for action to be taken.
