Pros
I had a lot of freedom to experiment and test out new things on the marketing side. I was also involved in discussions about future products, features, and plans. I managed to have a close connection with our customers to figure out their pain points and needs and tailor our messages. The team was small but overall great people. I had a great time among them.
Cons
Towards the end, I felt we had no say in the future of the company or product and most of our recommendations were ignored if they were not aligned with the CEO's intentions. I was also caught up in doing other things not-related to my core skills and ended up doing that far more that initially expected.
