      Great company burned to the ground by the incompetent egomaniac CEO

      Pros

      While it lasted: - Amazing and super intelligent team members. - Unlimited PTO - Flexible Work

      Cons

      The CEO is an egomaniac who only has one vision : to completely burn down the amazing company created by the smart founders (who already left the sinking ship). Unnecessary and completely irrelevant acquisitions and equity dilutions totally ruined the company's laser-focused vision. Even the OG founder was almost on the verge of crying when she left the company. Also no regard for talent and their skills. We had 3 rounds of layoffs just this year alone with people fired left and right with no regards to their skills or contributions. Customers and potential job seekers stay away from this sinking ship.

      Pros

      - Hiring process was very smooth. I was surprised by how responsive and respectful of my time they were - Interview was pretty rigorous, but focused as much on cultural fit as on technical experience. I think this shows appreciation for the big picture - Since being hired, work has been fast paced and very interesting - Most of the tooling is cutting edge, using new technology is always up for consideration - Even though everyone is remote, we keep in close touch on Slack. Communication is fun and casual, but also to the point and efficient - There is a lot of work to be done, many opportunities to help out

      Cons

      - The hoodie they gave me doesnt have enough pockets - Work at a young and (very) fast-growing business can be a bit frenetic

      Pros

      Recent merger with Unitas. Though, it missed the CEO's timeline, which is a recurring theme.

      Cons

      A founder left. There is only one founder remaining. She leads the Engineering and Product teams. With three out of the four founders gone, rumors are circling when she'll leave too. CEO and his close confidants are difficult to work with. Other reviews have mentioned this. I can confirm that there are individuals that are friends with the CEO that are essentially protected. Learn those individuals quickly.
