      Great Leadership, Innovation-Driven Environment

      - Opportunity to work in a fast-paced, innovative and industry-leading company - Attentive leadership who react effectively to employee concerns/feedback - Opportunities to work closely with the leadership of some of the biggest brands/companies in the world - Great work/life balance and focus on work done rather than time spent

      Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review about your time with Netcraft. Personally, I can relate to your comments about our leadership and approach to work life balance and flexibility. Career and personal development frameworks are in place across our larger functions such as Engineering and Tech Ops, but we do recognise that there is more to be done in some of the smaller teams across the business. We do provide everyone with 2 days a year that they can use to focus on relevant training and development of their choosing, and we have open access to Udemy and Coursera courses. We also take a very supportive view on any other external training from seminars through to professional qualifications. Thank you for you service to Netcraft over the last 9 years and I hope you are able to talk as positively about your new job/company in the future as you have about Netcraft.       Don't fall into the Trap

      Pros

      * Good pay ( the trap ) * Good advertisement of the work you'll be doing ( Which turned out to be a lie)

      Cons

      * Quite a hostile environment * Extremely old technology( Perl is the main programming language, the fact that they'll be hiding, since the job market for it is very small) * Not only are there no plans to upgrade, they actively are against any suggestions to do so. (I literally got a warning due to suggesting it) * Not that many other positions in Bath. So when you decide to leave, if you had moved there you'll have a really hard time. * Terrible middle management, who hide issue from CEO pretty well, and the CEO buys it * Questionable ethics regarding how they provide their services. If a law suit were to come out of it, I wouldn't be surprised.

      -reasonable money -remote working available -decent holiday allowance -good work/life balance

      Cons

      -felt there was no respect for junior staff members -presented with no progression opportunities -very little training/onboarding given -regularly ignored by management
